Because of my last painting experience i thought why don't do some mounted officers to go with them?
So i'm now busy with sculpting a general and an infantry officer with the help of great chaps from TMP....
any comment is welcome because the sources i have are not so precise.

HAT Saxon Grenadiers 1806

After long time i finally did some painting, and i had fun!!! I find these minis from Hat quite nice to paint, although the sculptures are a bit too bold, and i would have liked them to wear gaiters instead of trousers cause they would have look more similar to the original uniform plates..... but nothing wrong indeed with trousers, more frequently used on campaign.

Horse sculpt

just had fun for a couple of hours sculpting this horse, i used Milliput for the body, i will add the details with Greenstuff. Next will be a wounded one....

French Lancers of the Line :Masters Ready

French Lancers of the line ready for production! I made upgrades from the first masters, added 2 more lancers, added plumes , added more horses, each one different. The production will be in 2 sets, command (3 mounted ) and Team (4 mounted figures) and  with the addition of a single mounted Lancer in greatcoat, and a set of accessories , spare heads and arms to allow different customization. The horses are quite realistic and well proportioned and in standing pose.
I'm thinking in the future to produce spare horses in different movements, but later on.....
